The local chevy dealer broke the right rear tire pressure sensor on my 1994 corvette while repairing a leak. He has tried numerous used sensors with no luck. Apparently this part is no longer available new.
Any ideas? The owners manual says you can see your dealer to have the system turned off. Has anyone had any experience with this? My dealer says they don't know how. Please Help!!! The service LTPWS system light drives me nuts. Again . . HELP!
on a 91 if you remove all of them it will not set any lights or codes... If that helps at all.. Did you try all the usual places that advertize here for a good used one??

I would like to know as well, as I had my rear tire repaired and the sensor broke, but the mechanic was able to fix it. I can see why they can break. When removing the tire with the machine, it has a tendency to place a lot of downward pressure on braking the tire from the bead. My sensor just happened to be placed couple of inches from the edge of the rim.
