optional upgrades suspension
I recently bought an 87 vert. The previous owner told me that the car had the optional upgraded suspension. what is it and How can I verify this? I can't find any differences visually inside or outside and I ran the VIN and there is nothing in the numbers that show anything. I sold my 89 coupe and this looks just like my old one.

I think you should contact the previous owner, it is very possible he did the upgrade or maybe was told the same thing. verts usually come as a base car.
if no codes on paper you will have to check the springs codes, but it would be easiest to ask the guy what he means.
