Okay so i have a post that explains a situation im in. My car died leavin my dumb founded.. bought a code reader and have 3 codes.
po 300 , po400 , p1133 . does anyone have any idea, can any of these codes kill power to my engine, Ive checked fuel pressure thou low still have it. I put an inline spark plug tester and had my son turn the engine over , no spark of any kind..... my car recently over heated
to a point that i warped my heads, got it running for 3 days, then while idling just died and turns as if i pulled off the coil wire.. hasnt started since..wonder what the chances are that i melted something in the opti spark??\

Warped heads usually leak coolant which can run onto the opti spark and this kills them. I'm not sure about 96's, but I believe there is an external spark coil. If so, unplug the coil and test for spark out of the coil during cranking. If the coil sparks but no spark out of the optispark, then your problems are in the opti.

But for real fun, have a friend (not a good one) hold the coil while you crank the engine
