Visible difference between D44/D36 batwing?

Visible difference between D44/D36 batwing?
I am looking for a D44 batwing and would like to know if the "44" is marked on the batwing or how can you tell? Any comparison photos?

I dont recal a specific mark.
Visually looking from the fluid side to avoid confusion,
Dana 36 batwing has a total of 10 perimeter bolt holes. One of these is at top center meaning 3 across the top.
Dana 44 batwing has a total of 9 perimeter bolt holes. Only two across the top meaning one on each side.
