Looking for the part number for the Temprature Door Actuator for a 1989 ?. Also does this part fit other cars? Where is the best place to buy one?

I don't know what you are calling an "actuator". Take your pick. Just about everything on this page has to come from either a dealer or a bone yard, other than the heater core.

Is the temperature door not moving? Try checking the solder joints on R3 and R4 referenced in the link above. Resoldering the joints on both resistors fixed the temp door on my '89.

OOPS!
Here are some actuators. Take your pick. First picture Item 12.

Second picture items 10, 11, 12, 13.

Maybe this will help, too.

Are you talking about the electric thing that operates the door in the heater box ? I was looking at a 90? pick up truck the other day and the one on it looks a lot like the one on my 87.

See if this looks right.

GM part number should be 16025581, but it is discontinued.
