I own a 1993 Corvette with auto trans and purchased from Mid America Corvette their 373 in a Dana casing and I love it. First to second is fast. Must disable ASR when drive low speeds. 9-60 is quick

I had to purchase bigger fatter tire for more traction:

REAR
Pirelli P7000
Sport Tires“ZR” High Performance Rating
Size: 315 / 35 / R / 17”

FRONT
Pirelli Zero Nero
Sport Tires “ZR” High Performance Rating
Size: 255 / 45 / R / 17”

Want to know more email me fantasy8000@***.net
I did the job myself.....have photos to share...

I believe the OP found a "solution" over 4 1/2 years ago.

If you've still got the Pirelli P7000 you're certainly lacking for traction. I don't believe that's been available in a 315/35R17 for a very long time. Very long time!

Date codes of your 315's?

Let's all agree that AUTOs are stupid.

95 - ZF-6 with 4.10 - Don't even crack 1900 at 70mph.

I am looking at gears also, my thoughts are you should do some research first, if you are looking to make it a stoplight warrior only, then get the gears, if it is your DD, then your wallet is going to stay a lot lighter.
driveshaft half shaft batwing speedo thats what you need to change if your going to make that choice but again you may as well find two because if you plan on driving it hard some times the 36 may not survive , they get a bad rap but i have one with 373 gears that survived a 700 hp dyno day , what kills them is the slaming when tire finds traction ..
