bent rim makes car pull to right???
i have a chrome GM a-mold/zr1 style rim on the right front of my car that is about 3% out of round...and only on the inner side. it balanced ok.. when put this wheel on my car, it started pulling to the right. would an out-of-round rim do this? it didn't pull before. and the RF tire is a different tire than before...but both GSCs. i had 275s and 285s, and went to 285s and 315s..moved the 285s forward... what would you blame it on???

I recently had mine balanced and aligned and found that I had two bent rims- both on the passenger side. After the alignment the car pulls to the right. Took it back to the shop, cross rotated the tires, still pulls to the right and also have to keep the steering wheel a little off center(to the drivers side). The shop says its in the wear of the tires, I have no other alternative than to believe them since I used to work there, and watched the tech perform the alignment. I also added a used tire to the rear, which they also said could cause a pull in an independent rear drive car. But I also am going to get a second align done to check on the calibration of their old machine. But in your case try the cross rotation trick on the fronts, it may work- if it's the tire causing the pull. :cheers:
