Mid '93 is when the computer started controlling tranny's on Corvette's.
Early vettes have ECM's and later have PCM's.

That's what I thought too, but David Fulcher says that there is NO control of the tranny until '94. A '94 with a PCM would have a 4L60E tranny, and according to him no '93's had a 4L60E or a PCM. I lost that battle ;).
I have also read that late '93 was the time when some 4L60E where installed in vettes and thus would have the PCM. Now if you are into radio control stuff then PCM stands for Pulse Code Modulation. :D
