Spring Rate Questions
Hi,
On my 1992 I have the VBP front adjustable spring 1,074 lbs. and their rear spring 488 lbs. Also have bigger sway bars (Z51) and FX3 revalved Bilstein shocks.
I never raced it yet with these springs-but when driving on the street the back seems way to stiff-maybe I have to get used to it? It feels like the back could get off the ground on a bumpy road surface.
My questions are:
Is this rear spring to stiff? If yes what would you recommend?
With the stock (soft) springs the car had tons of roll but was somewhat quick at the track-last time out at Lime Rock (old surface 2007) it went a best of high 1.03s with old Nitto R2s.
