Default 86 Vette Air Damn Question

My Vette just arrived on its long trek from Florida yesterday and the front air damn is cracked and hanging down in the middle. I can see where the previous owner tried to "zip tie" it up and that explains why I heard that drag backing it out of his driveway. Is this an easy and inexpensive thing to replace?

You need to repair and/or replace the damaged parts asap.

These are necessary to promote cooling, thereby preventing overheating.

Its just easier to visit MADVET.com and purchase the parts you need.

Is it pretty straightforward to remove the old one and replace? It seems to be fairly inexpensive.

You most likely need a new lower radiator baffle and possible new front spoilers. The lower baffle is about $112+ shipping. http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....Z5Z5Z50000050F

The baffle I guess is what the air dam is connected to?

After inspecting it today, it seems like what I'm missing from that diagram is the retainer.

I also have reason to believe my odometer is not working. I had to get an inspection sticker today and the same mileage that it had on the paperwork was the same that was on the odometer when I got home.

so THAT'S why it was a low mileage purchase
