door panel removal 95 coupe

Default door panel removal 95 coupe

I need to take off the driver side door panel to fix loose mirrow and replace the outter window sweep. would really apreciate any help on how to take it off . 95 coupe

Not too hard. When you pop the plastic fastners along the bottom out, use a flat pry bar or putty knife and take your time or you will ruin them. If you are careful you can reuse them.

Carefully remove the courtesy light lens so as to not break the tabs off.

There are several screws in the door handles that hold the panel on.

You will need to slide the door lock **** forward and pull it out to get to a hidden screw behind it.

Once the panel is loose, just disconnect the wires one at a time until the panel the panel comes off.

Do a search on this forum and you should find several posts with pics that wil help.

I have found the best way to pop out the plastic push pins at the bottom of the door is to use a "claw" hammer.....as said above, be carefull when popping them out. Most auto parts stores carry replacements.
