Default Easy Radio Question

1992 Coupe - Bose Gold System with CD player.

I am sending my radio out to Doctor Don to have the CD player fixed. While the radio is out, can I still drive the car, or will some anti-theft device prevent normal operation?

I've heard I'll get a system light if the radio is out - does this matter to me? Will it go away as soon as I put the radio back in?

Thanks!
Andy of Pittsburgh

Sys light on or flash with no radio. Won't affect normal operation of anything else. Light goes out once it is re-installed.

Are you getting a jack for MP3 installed?

I'm thinking about it. I'm not sure how I'd route the wire to somewhere nice and classy without having it stretching across the interior. First I'm just concentrating on getting the darn radio out without breaking something.

That is what I was wondering about too. If he could mount the port so it faces out the rear then I could route the cable no problem.

Good luck!

Here's what I did. Routed the usb into the ashtray. Flip it open, there's a female usb laying there. Plug in thumb drive. Presto!
