STOP!

Do not waste your $ on buying a chip off the Internet!

I have replaced my chip so many times I think I could have paid for a new engine! Instead, search the Tuning section for the keyword Ostrich. This should get you started.

You basically need:

A Laptop
Some tuning software - like TunerCat and there are many others to select from
A bin file for your ECM
An Ostrich from Moates.
It might be really helpful to have a wide band O2 sensor.

The Ostrich takes the place of the daughter board that the chip makers will send you. You basically plug your lap top into the Ostrich and then you can change the settings on the fly. You can leave the Ostrich in permanently, or if you want to buy a chip burner, use it to down load to your chips. But really not necessary to burn chips anymore.

I am going to check around town and see if any of the auto parts stores or tool rental places rent a wide band sensor for a reasonable fee.

I am waiting for my setup right now. For less than the cost of a single Dyno tune you can do it yourself forever!

I have been tuning some of the fastest vette on this site for years, as well as hundreds of street driven cars. I can give you tons of references, as well as those shown on my site which come from forum members right here that I have done tunes for with their supplied information.

Please do not hesitate to shoot me an email for assistance with your tune. Best of all I offer after the first tune, 100% free upgrades on your tunes if you continue to change things. Therefore its the last chip you will ever need to purchase. Some of the heavy hitters on here that are always changing their cars setups have had me do 8 or more tunes for them. All I ask is that you pay the shipping.

Check out my site and if you have any more questions please let me know. The testimonials page will surely give you an idea of how many I have done for guys just like you.
