IMO raising a vette is as wrong as breast reduction surgery however, best thing you can do to lift the front is...either install a stock spring and spring retainers.....or place the (aluminum shims on top of spring) both will require removing front sping.. However, I don't believe you since there is no such thing as vette too low

If the front is still at stock height you may have serious mechanical problems. How about some pics.....

If you keep the throttle floored, the front will raise and stay as long as you can hold it.

Hows the stance? If the rear is too high front may drag. Mine is a little low and I don't have issues (as long as the water isn't too deep)

Explain what you mean by "bottoms out".

Does it actually scrape the bottom, or are you hearing the front air dam scrape on driveway approaches?

It's very common for the plastic air dam to scrape. Entering and leaving at an angle will help some.
But a little light scraping won't hurt it much, as long as that's all it is.

I suspect my 95 is lower than original as well. The front spring appears to have all the original bushing and spacers. Then again, maybe I'm used to my C6. I'm sure some of these cars settle. My wheel gap is a lot less than some of the pics I see here, but also the previous owner bought 315's for the rear and it fills the wheel well some.

I also have knowledge that 2 owners ago the guy who had it was a little north of 300 lbs so that might explain why the drivers side is low on mine as well
