outer window seals 93 c4

outer window seals 93 c4
I would like to know if I have to remove the window on my 93 C4 when I replace the outer window seal. I have removed the door panel and it looks like there are pop rivets holding the seal to the door. Is it difficult to drill out these rivets? There are also rubber weather stripping at both ends. Do these rubber weather strips have to be removed too?
Also do I have to REMOVE the window. Thanks for any help.

Step 1: Roll down window
Step 2: Remove door panel
Step 3: Drill out the 3 rivets
Step 4: Carefully remove old seal (there are a bunch clips that hold it in place that can scratch the paint.
Step 5: Install in reverse order...rinse, lather, repeat
FYI: Be careful not to bend the new seal when installing. The core is flexible metal...Think "pipe cleaner."
