Exhaust noise without Resonator
I'm hoping that I can gather enough opinions to make a wise decision. I have a stock 95 LT1 except for dual magnaflow mufflers out the back (mufflers only). After getting the car out of storage I was looking to do some mild mods (intake, exhaust, maybe 1.6 rocker rollers). My first step is the exhaust. If I take out the resonator will that create a huge increase in the sound level inside? Not to worried about outside. The reason being is that until I save up enough to go with the long tube and high flow cats then back to the dual magnaflows, I'd like to at least take the resonator for now, just not sure what that will get me. any advice would be appreciated.
