This is Cool...SLP Runner Mods
They didnt post any power numbers yet but looks like a cool way to get a poor mans superram IF the idea works.
On the page, some of the jpgs posted dont work, but go down to the bottom of the thread and youll see the 2 pics of it finished.
Tell me what you think...they did do a nice finish job, cant see the welds.Maybe this is how SLP shouldve made them in the first place.Their runners in stock form arent any better then the GM runners IMO.They need alot of porting to open them up to large tube size.

Thanks for the comments...I have SLP runners in storage that I began porting similar to what this person did...need to finish it up but havent been able to since last summer.
I cut the back wall off and knocked the divider out...however I left the divider nearly halfway to try and keep it close to the SR runner length without overporting.
I remember Ralph on the forum tried to siamese his SR tubes and said he lost some power so didnt want to go overkill in my case with the SLP's.I need to finish porting and cutting then weld the backs up and hope when done can flow alot more without sacrificing torque so much.
These SLP's need alot of work to flow real good and fill the engine better with more mass of air to change pressure in the manifold.
I agree this persons mods look nicely done but on a stock motor and cam,not sure if there will be any significant gains. The stock cam is designed around the stock runners and economy/emissions so Im sure if someone does this type of work they need at least a better cam and possibly head work.
:)
Besides, my L98 makes so much torque you can break the rear tires loose just by going WOT in first even with the car moving already, I think I would want more top end power and less low rpm power as a rule. :D
