C4 Corvette Battery Problem

Hi, I have a 1989 Corvette and the battery has been giving me trouble, I recently went to go get it checked and they said the battery was fine so now I think there is a short somewere in the car and I was wondering if anyone has any Ideas, the guys at the shop said that 9/10 times it is the alarm but does my vette even have an alarm because I have never heard it go off.

You should have an alarm. We might be able to help more if you describe the symptoms of your problem. Have you checked the car at night to look for any lights that might be on?

If you hear your alarm go off something is terribly wrong or you have enterd your vette improperly.

Need symptoms please.

A short circuit will blow a fuse or fusible link. The only circuit unfused is the starter motor. If you have a blown fuse, then it would become obvious that some electrical function no longer worked. A much better description of your problem is required for us to help you.
