I'd like to start redoing my Motor/Trans mounts, steering/suspension bushings, ball joints, shocks etc.. For my 94's (non FX4) 180 monthly extended work period refit. I'd rather keep it all rubber, because I'm afraid it will get squeeky and rigid if I go with Poly. I'd like to keep it stock like if possible. Problem is, I don't know where to get the stuff besides the dealer. Also what shocks to get. I read the sticky on suspension rebuild, and although it has lots of great tips, it was all polyurethane parts. Has anyone else gone through this?
Thanks
Only replacement suspension bushings are poly. I did a full poly install back in late 05 and still no squeeks (recently replaced the dog bones with a rod end trailing arms)
Really? nobody makes stock suspension soft good replacements? Not that corvette recylings prices are out of line, but I don't need new A-arms...
Has anyone priced them from GM? or are they not available?
Really no one makes rubber suspension bushings I said in my first post if you want new bushings poly. Poly is is not the only option just the most mellow....you can get poly ..... delalum .....rod ends....
If you want rubber the GM sold replacement suspension components. and cheapest new rubber components I've seen are in the link I posted
