Fuel Injector options and pricing
Hi all,
Since there have been quite a few posts about injectors recently, and the possibility that I might need some soon for my erratic idle problem, I decided to do some research and share a few findings. I also have a few questions below. Maybe I should have made a vote topic for these, hmmmmm
GM stock injectors: 17124248, 3gps, #24, pricing is outa there
Ford take outs (used) - http://www.fiveomotorsport.com, $140
Stock rebuild - http://www.cruzinperformance.com - $120 or more
GM rebuilds - http://www.fuel-injectors.com - $200, they ship, I return cores
Ford rebuilds - http://www.jdsperformance.com - $179
New Accel - http://www.jegs.com - $229 (110-150824)(#24)
New Fords - http://store.summitracing.com - $219 (FMS-M9593A302)(#24)
1. I have seen some posts here say use the Ford #19 and others say use the #24's? According to the Accel application chart at Jegs, the Ford replacements use a #19 and the GM use a #24. If I get the FMS #24's is there going to be a problem? Should I go with 19 or 24's if I get the Ford injectors?
2. Of the options, what would you pick for a stock 94?
3. What experiences (good or bad) have you had with the above if any?
4. Other options??????
