laptop software for 92 LT1??
I like to get software and cable to read my car's ECM.I know I can't reprogram my 92.94 and up only.Are there any good free ones out there? thanks NOVICE at this. :seeya

Actually, yes you can reprogram your '92. I plan on doing the same thing with my '93. You can use Datamaster to record what is going on with the laptop. AKM cables has the cable already done, but there are links as well for the brave do-it-yourselfers to build it from scratch.
Please read the FAQ at the top of this forum. The problem with our ECM's is the MEMCAL or some such thing. Requires an adapter or resolder job. I'll be going the adapter route from Craig Moates in the future. Got other things to do for now. Read read read up on this... :seeya
