Below is a video of my Vette starting up warm. I have a strange "clank" noise right as it starts. There are no symptoms or any problems with the car. It only makes this noise after it is warmed up and started again (like after a trip for dinner or something). I can start it cold and it is fine (no noise). With my bad fuel pump that I just replaced a few weeks ago she use to turn over a few cranks before starting sand there was no noise. Now with my new fuel pump, she starts up super quickly...
Does anyone have any ideas? In the video the noise is around 2.5 seconds into the video. Its hard to hear, but in real life it is loud. I will see if I can make a better video tomorrow.
Thanks!

Is there a way to find out if its preignition? I am using regular gasoline and I have been using regular gas for the past year. The temps are never above 220F City and 200F highway when the engine is running... I dont want to break anything, how bad is it that there is preingnition for that brief second on startup? I dont hear any knocking while it is running...
