Worn out engine...rebuild or replace?

I haven't rebuilt one since the 80's so I'll keep my nose out of that one, but 2 additional things to consider
1. how much down time does the car have with the motor out being rebuilt-does she have another car to use?
2. if you are thinking of rebuilding the original block, do you have a vehicle to transport the short block to the machine shop?

I would do a rebuild for sure. Plus if you do that you get to keep the original block and even heads from the car if you so choose to do so. I would ask around for the best shop around your area and go with that.
