Throttle body gasket question.
One of the guys in our car club asked me a question that I can't answer, maybe someone here can help..
If you use a early throttle body gasket on a later model Corvette what will it cause to happen? It seems he used a gasket from a early (84-88) throttle body on his 90 by mistake. He only had it on for a week before putting the car away for the winter but says he didn't notice any difference.If you look at the 2 side by side there is a definite difference,will it cause a problem?..WW

If it sealed and had no leaks then I wouldn't worry about it.
Check for vaccum leaks and the holes line up for the idle air feed.
