Help with Distributor

I tried to post on the "F" body forum but I'm not getting feedback that I asked for so I'm employing my Corvette brethern to see if you can help. I am converting my 89 Corvette large cap distributor to a Camaro small cap distributor. The problem is the distributor I purchased from a person on the "F" body forum said it was from an 87 Camaro and when I got it the part number stamped on it was 1103880 which does not seem to convert to a Camaro. The internals look to be "questionable" at best, and I need the original application to get any of the auto stores (Advanced, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc.) to find replacement parts. I know there are cross reference books out there, but can't find this part number, can anybody help me??

Just tell them its an 89 Camaro with a 305. Or an 89 truck. The small distributors came in both.

Not to Hi-jack, but is there a small cap distributor from Chevy that will plug and play in my 89 vette? Was not aware!

I just converted my large cap to a small cap and used a 92 camaro distributor. Most 90 and up camaros work and late 80's trucks. Suburban and so on.
