LT1 Underdrive pulleys - Charging problems, or do they work good?
Thinking of installing underdrive pulleys, and would like some input from people who have them. Does your alternator still charge good at idle? Also, which brands are better? Thanks in advance.. :cheers: :flag :cheers: :cool:

Ive heard of some people having charge problems, personally i wouldnt bother with them.

I have the March underdrive crank installed. It comes as a 3-piece set but I haven't installed the alternator overdrive nor the water pump overdrive pullies.
At idle with winter accessories On it gives about 12Vdc at idle; by 900rpm or so it's up to the normal 13.5Vdc.

I have the March AMP series. No problems with charging. They make a set called Power series that may cause problems
