TPI induction interchange
I've read the TPI swappers guide so I think I have this figured out. I'm working with a 91 vette. I have an SD vortec lower intake which is designed for 85-91 according to the literature. It has the provisions for the 9th injector. Second, I have the 85-88 SLP runners with the 9th injector provision. Finally, I have an 85-88 upper that is ported to match. Here are the questions. According to what I've read the newer TB can be used on the older plenum. Also, the older plenum does not have the MAP boss. But, can't I just drill and tap the plenum to work? Finally, I should be able to use the 85-88 SLP runners if I block off the cold start 9th injector and passage way in the plenum? Basically, I should be able to use this on a 91 if I modify the plenum for the MAP boss and block off the cold start, correct?

Before agreeing, I'd want to make sure you're swapping to Vortec heads (with that Vortec base) and that the IAC passages between your curring TB and the older setup matched.
