I'll be picking up my first Vette tomorrow. It's a '94 Polo Green 6spd. I was wondering what kinda of times some of you have put down with a stock LT-1 6spd. I've driven a few C4's and this one felt fairly strong. The seat of the pants dyno told me it would probably be a 13.40 car @ about 107. Am I far off on this? What have some of you guys run with good driving?
My car went 13.65 @ 103 on a 2.0 60' stock down to the paper air filter and GSC with just under 40k miles. An air foil, Rapidfires, open air lid, and K&N dropped it down to 13.4@105 on a 2.0 60'. All passes were made at SDR.
Car and driver: 5.0 to 60mph, 1/4 mile in 13.6 secs
Motor Trend: 5.3 to 60 mph
Motor Trend comparison test to ZR1: 5.6 to 60mph, 1/4 mile in 14.0 secs
Road & Track: 5.7 to 60 mph, 1/4 mile in 14.1 secs
The first timeslip shows the car completely absolutely factory stock.
This second one is with a clean air filter, and no mufflers, and lots of practice.
My last run ever in this car is 12.97@106mph.
Hell, my 92 automatic, bone stock with 2.59 rear gears went 13.31 at 107 and 13.16 in cold air, at Cecil county dragway with 1.92 60fts when I first got it.

  That's the fastest I've seen with 2.59s.
Pleeeaseee. Not R&T (or any of the other weanie auto rag publication) as a authoratative source! These are the same guys who thought Sam Posey was a great auto racing commentator and think if it'd German it's great. I'll bet the R&T, C&D losers who wrote this would wet thier pants after one flat out quarter in a properly piloted LT4. Cire96
My car went 13.36@107.40 with lid, K&N, muffler elims. I know there out there, but I haven't seen many lid and cat-back exhaust LT1's going 107, except Mr. Mojo. My runs were with a healthily worn clutch, and bald GSC's.
One way or the other, even fast cars can be slow with a bad driver.
