The proper scanning tool
I have owned my 91 Corvette for just over a year now. It is obvious to me that i will need a scanning tool eventually to read engine fault codes and other diagnostic procedures. Can anyone tell me about there scanner or recommend a decent one for my car. Thanks

After spending money on a scanner that didn't really work, I found the free software and purchased the cable. Now I can data log.

The laptop with software works well , But if you do want a scanner get a (Auto X Ray 6000). This scanner will do OBD 1 and 2 , most scanners now days only do the newer cars, this does both..You can do freeze frame and it records the data so you can print it out on your printer later on.. Not the cheapest, but one of the best in my opinion..WW
