Thanks to all who offered advice! The problem was the ABS unit. It has been replaced and the brakes are back to normal.

What was your problem?

I have an 87 and the brakes will pulsate when you are sitting with the brakes applied. I have removed the brake fuse for now, but would certainly like to find the problem. I understand the ABS unit can be very expensive so I have been trying to avoid that if possible.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. My car is tucked away for the winter. We have about 4 feet of snow right now so it will be awhile before I get it.

Check Ebay- I bought a good used abs unit for under $50- There are a lot of sellers who deal in car parts and are reputable-many who specialize in Corvette parts. Good luck
