Default how does one 'test' a dual mass flywheel

I have a dual-mass flywheel I removed, a few years ago, from a 93 vette that had 38000 miles on it at time of removal.

I removed it so I could install a lightweight flywheel/ stage III+ clutch.

Anyways, Id like to sell this on the forum, but want to make sure everything with it is ok.

Is there any 'test' I can perform on this that will tell me if all is still good on it.

Its my understanding there is rubber sandwhiched between two steel halves.

To test it you twist the upper surface clockwise then make a mark on both pieces, turn it all the way counterclockwise then make another mark. Measure the distance between the marks on the lower piece. I forget the actual number with out looking in the fsm, But I think it shouldn't move more than 1-1/4" or 1-1/2".

thank you. I knew there was some test like that. This thing has just been sitting around, gathering dust.

Im also so happy with my lightweight flywheel, that I would never go back to it.

Although you only had 38k on it, did you do any drag racing with slicks? This is the killer of the dual mass.
