Default Coolant temp sensor and Cambar Brace ?

Will a bad Coolant temp sensor make you car run poorly, and stumble/miss sometimes, especially when cold?

Anyone with a Cambar Brace know if you can remove/install one without removing bar?

If you are looking forward on removing the CTS

I don't think there is a way to remove the temp sensor with the CB on place.

You'll have to drain the coolant or lower the internal level.

But I don't think the CTS would make your Vette to stumble/miss etc.

A bad CTS in the water pump made my LT1 run like crap. Disconnect it and see. I broke one as the camber brace cracked it, so I zip tied the camber brace up then tightened it so the zip tie is a "just in case" it falls.

Yeah the mechanic said the thing was reading temps all over the place and it looked cracked and epoxied! He said it would cause the system to dump more or less fuel in w the different temps. I had the O2 changed and that made most of it clear up, but then it will still skip hard when cold, like an auto shifting hard at 2k.
