WinALDL and USB
Hello to all! 
I've bought an ALDL cable for my laptop with an USB port. I'd like to use the WinALDL software, but it only works with COMx ports (RS232). Does anyone solved it? If so, could you tell me how I could use the WinALDL with my USB cable?

When your USB ALDL cable is properly installed with the correct drivers, it will show up as a COMx port.

Hello to all!
I've received the USB cable and it works fine! I had to configure it to the "10Kohm between A-B" mode and the WinALDL to 4800 baud rate for the virtual serial port. Also I had to select the 1227165 ECM in the WinALDL configuration.
I've received some instructions with the cable, so it was very easy to do!

Man I sure wished I had those skills.. if I wipped out a lap top and plugged her in and started checking whatever on my C4 I'd be the talk of the club cuzz we're all olds farts that still use real pencils and don't call on cells but rather go see them
