Default Oil leak

I have a 95 LT1 with an oil leak that is puddling on top of trans on drivers side right behind intake and valve cover/head. what would be a fair price to have either repaired since I am no longer able to do my self?

Sounds like the rear of the intake maifold, parts are about $35.00 for a gasket set

Labor figure about $75.00 an hour

it could also be nothing more than a small leak from the oil pressure piping / oil sender / oil pressure safety switch; in which case it would be the cost of some teflon tape and the time to tighten everything.

take the time to clean everything on the top rear of the engine (use engine degreaser then brake cleaner) get a good flashlight and try to determine where the leak is from. Once you know that you can get some quotes.

a dealer will charge you about 450.a regular shop might charge 250 -300.
I got a quote from a chevy dealer of 450 to replace my intake gasket when I bought my car 6 months ago.
