Default Rear abs brake sensor?

I am replacing the right rear wheel bearing assembly and noticed that I am missing the wheel sensor for the abs( I think that is what it is). Since I have owned the car the brake light has been on, I always thought it was due to the parking brake not working. Where can I get a new wheel sensor and do I just put it in place an connect it or do I need to reset anything. I am also going to fix the parking brake, it was just disconnected at the left rear hub so I have to figure out how to get some slack in the line so I can reconnect. I am guessing I do this at the equalizer. Seems every time I try and fix one thing I find several other things that I don't know how to do. I am going to have a brand new car soon. Thanks for all the help

So is there/ was there an open hole in the casting?

Yes, the open hole is there and so is the bolt that holds the wheel sensor. I also see the plug in for it against the inner wheel fender as well the guides for the wire. If I can find a replacement do I just mount where it goes and plug it in. Do I have to do anything with the ecm. Thanks

EDIT:

I still hate this stupid new website layout. They show multiple threads on a single page. I was on another thread and I quickly jumped to the bottom of the page to post a comment. And then afterwards, I see it's posted on a different thread that I wasn't reading as every page shows two sets of threads on a single page with this new dumb format change that happened a few years ago.

So I didn't mean to post to this thread. And it looks like they've removed the feature to delete your comment. So, nothing I can do about it.

I believe that you can OPT OUT of the 'RELATED THREADS' that got you here. I'm not sure where it's located but I would assume in profile options. PM a Moderator? Delete hasn't been available for a few months. It's missed by some more than others!

A couple of pointers here when posting put a year for all Corvette's aren't equal nor same.
Now if you want to get slack in the cable that is done at the parking brake wratchet, it has an automatic slack cam. So so just playing with the cable near Left Rear is not the full answer. The adjuster needs to be caged first.
Next if you're replacing the hub the tooth wheel should be a part of it if doesn't have it odds are wrong part.
What's weird is I looked at several hub bearing listings and a toothed wheel is not visible?

You should be able to pick up a ABS sensor at any corvette recycler. The one nearest me is https://www.allamericanclassics.com/
They ship.

Be advised they moved the ABS mounting "foot" during different years ('86-87 / '88-?), so the hold down bolt would be in the wrong place (it's easy enough to relocate). Last I knew, there are no new ABS sensors available so it used salvage only.
