Headlight issue
I'm going to sound as if I was born yesterday, but I'm about to own a '91 vette, and I'm getting warmed up to it.
It has those new HID bulbs in the lights that roll up.
However, when you pull on the stick on the steering wheel column that turns on the high beams, the HID bulbs just shut off.
I'm not sure if those are the high beams/foglights or whatever they're supposed to be called.
If so, what are the clear lights on the bumper?

The lights in the bumper are the fog lights. There is a small push on/off button under the head light switch for the fog lights. They will work when the head light switch is in both on positions, park or head light.
Cannot tell you about the HID's except that they are aftermarket lights. They may not be wired properly.
