Default Need some answer b4 buying a c4

I'm about buying a c4 ..

I checked on a '94 today

the car was perfect , except for some stuff :

1- oil change always on ? why ?
2- there is a sign like this ! ...always on
3- what to change to make the car rides better (handling)
4- what to check before buying a c4 ?

1) Oil Change light comes on because.........time for oil change!
2) ! = where?
3) tires, shocks, etc.

The change oil light will remain on until someone manually resets it. Instructions are in the owners manual.

C4s corner great but have a harsh ride. If it doesn't seem to handle well you can try new shocks/tires, if it handles OK but the ride is rough, that is to be expected.

Maybe you could post a picture of the ! so we could see it in context.

Turn the key on, but don't start it. Within 5 seconds push and release the engine/metric button twice, then push and hold the gauges button until the oil change light quits flashing. Other things to check are about like any other car, plus the weatherstripping (expensive) and check if the CD player works properly. Shocks are the biggest factor in the ride, it might need a new set of Bilsteins. What are the options on the car and mileage?

the car is auto , mileage is 70K miles ..the car got very clean interior and exterior except for the front bumper ...got some cracked paint.

weatherstripping you mean the rubbers ?? I found them in good condition..the car was imported from Japan ..
