On my 95', with the fully automatic system,I had a strange thing happened last night.I pushed the A/C on button and nothing.pushed Fan only..nothing.Then after about 15 Min. it came on.Thought it might be a relay problem.I checked the FSM and it looks like there in't a Blower Relay.Pg. 1B-25 says VIN P C68 (A/C Programmer) Man. Trans. only has an A/C Clutch Relay and an 2nd & 3rd Gear Blockout Relay????? This morning same thing.but I did leave it in the on position and after I hit a rather large bump it came on Again thinking relay being jarred loose,. Now today it's still working after cycling it on & Off a few times.
Now I'm really confused.I wonder if the Programmer does all this.
I have intermittent problem like that as well. I have heard it may be caused by the contacts on the system. (which is common from what I understand) Many people say you can take it out and clean the the contacts and it takes care of it. You can also purchase (oh yeah they sell everything) a replacement unit.
It is a pain to take out because you have to take apart the console and dash area, but it is a no cost try.
If it's not that, maybe someone else has some other ideas.

It sure sounds like this could be the issue.
Here is a link that explains how to take it out and clean the contacts.
I haven't done mine, but I saved the link for the day I might need it. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-g...on-repair.html

Thanks, I now have it saved as well. I know the day is coming for me.

There was a thread here recently by "Preacher94"---his problem sounded like yours---he could smack/tap on the evap/blower housing under the hood and fan would come on ---i guessed it to be blower control module problem--turns out it was the blower motor itself---just something else to keep in mind

You are right...I tapped the Fan Motor and "Viola" it came on. Installed new fan motor assy' and it's fine.
