I have a header gasket leak on my 94. I was going to replace my gasket and call it a day but with my mufffler eliminators I really want to get a pair of headers..BUT my bolts are rsutey as hell and I am nervous to replace my gasket and crack a bolt. So I think I am going to try anyway. I am wondering what CHEAP header will fit an EXACT replacement of what I have. Long tub for sure but I mean I want to rip off with I have and not have to rig a pair to fit in there. I want something to bolt right up...Any idea of what would fit ?
Why replace the headers for rusty bolts??
Use a copper gasket, seals better and lasts longer.
2nd, get lock washers or bolts w/built on lock washers and retorque after the first 2 heat cycles and you will not leak again.
I doubt you'll find any headers that you can just bolt right in. There is almost always some kind of pipe work to do. Cats to deal with if you have them etc, etc. As far as cheap goes, I don't think there are any for these cars. Maybe Hedman or Hooker would most likely be the cheapest. A decent set that will fit pretty good will probably run you from 700.00 on up to over 1000.00. Just depends on what you want.

Don't worry about the rusty bolts, they are not tourqued much, less than 40lb IIRC.
Mine came right out the first time and they were very rusty.
I agree that any header you buy will need exhaust work to mate up to your original exhaust. On the other hand driving to the muffler shop with open headers thru bullet cats is a cool ride It cost me less than $130 for 2 sections of straight 3" pipe to mate up my cats to the original mufflers. That included all labor, they worked on it about 90 min.
The cheapest headers you can buy are uncoated Pacesetters shorties for around $250 or $400 ceramic coated. Most will say they are junk and while I wouldn't call them that great, I had a set of used coated I bought off of fleabay for $200 for several years and never had any issues with them. The don't affect the rest of the exhaust setup and are pretty easy to install.
I am looking to fix my leak, all I was saying is that I was scared because the bolts were rusty and i didnt want to break them. So If I replace my gasket and replace my bolts I will not get headers I dont think. I dont think I want to get into a headace. I really just need to replace the gasket and save money you know? Where can I get a gasket to fit? auto zone/ any parts store?

YES, They should have Header or manifold gaskets.Ive used both typs of gaskets on headers but header gaskets are easer to install.
