Ride Height
I have a 86 Corvette that I replaced the front spring with a used one purchased off of ebay. The spring is in like new condition. The one that I replaced had split in the middle. Question, is there a period of time that the spring will limber up. The car rides high to me in the front and I am thinking that the spring will lower a little after a few miles. Or, the height now is what it will remain. Thanks, Allen

It will settle in a little but not very much. You may have one from a car with a different suspension package that caused the change in ride height. If you really want to lower it you'll have to cut the pads off.

Well, if you have aluminum heads, use Iron heads........adds 60 Lbs to the front......J/K
The only way to deal with the high ride height is to use lowered pads or a different spring.
