Pretty sure the frisbee bolts run through the pulley to the water pump so they need to be there.
Runflats?
They need to stay, but if they are too long they will hit the pump and the pulley wont turn. I put washers behind the bolt heads to fix this.
As for the tire tub I removed everything, brackets and all. However, if you track the car, the tub might help with keeping air out from under there. I am going to experiment with that. Otherwise just leave it off.

I see the water pump needs the bolts, yes I just put washers the same thickness as the frisbee.
For the tub, that is what I am looking at. I know they even sell after market ones, not that it matters. It really does not weight too much. I am going to leave it for now.

Runflats?
You are right about the frisbee, and the tires are not run flats, but I have 2 cans of fix a flat. I have used it on other cars and it works very well for smaller holes. I would not even want to chance my original, but I will see after I clean it up what it looks like. The rim is out side of the rim is perfect like brand new shiny and clean, but the tire has to be shot.
There used to be a Guy over in the Parts for sale section of the Forum that sold a A/C delete pulley and bracket that mounted to the bracket that holds the A/C Compressor (lotta weight there). Put a Electric Water Pump on it and that will be one less Accessorie that you have to turn. It's gotta be worth a few HP with less junk to turn not to mention less weight. Pipe

Electric water pump is a good idea, I was going to go standard rotation later, but if or when I change, I think you are right.
I am working on some projects this week:
I have some questions:
Do you put the Frisbee bolts back on the WP pulley?
How in the heck did you get the inside bolt off the radiator shroud?
Did you keep the Spare tire tray on? Thanks
I ditched all spare tire stuff, including the cover. The shroud is a PIA the first time. A small swivel head ratchet wrench helps but is tedious because you only get about a 1/4 turn at a time, and the bolts will seem like they are a mile long. Before re-assembly, remove the "clip nuts" from the lower part of the shroud and install them on the upper side instead. When you re-assemble that will allow you to put all 6 bolts in through the front of the car (air dam) with ease.
Water pump pulley bolts may need to be trimmed even with washers. Before re-assembly spin it over by hand to make sure, then assemble and use a little blue lock tite on the threads.

Remove the spare tire tray and put that on the shelf with the tire, jack and all the hardware in it. I removed everything else on your list from my car but I could not live without a radio so I replaced that and all of the speakers and I ended up with nice sound and still saved a few pounds.
I think it all added up to about 60 lbs, not that much but it sure makes it easier to work on the car and looks better. You may even notice the performance difference.

I am working on some projects this week:
did you keep this on?
Mine is still hanging, I've been under there twice to remove the D36 and yet not taken the time to see how that thing hooks into whatever it is up there.....so it is just hanging and actually I dragged on something and it is bent now.....
I've been working on some projects this week, and I have finished some.
1. Smog-finished
2. A/C-finished
3. SpareTire -finished
4 .Radio-
5. W.P Frisbee-finished
6.manifolds-
BTW like everyone says, it is so much nicer with out all of that crap in there.

Also try cutting open the air filter lid and install cut-back stock AC Delco spark plugs. In the latter, I cut back the ground electrode, dress it smooth and then set the gap.

An AFPR to bump fuel pressure might help too.
I had an open lid, I have a true ram air set up it is better.

Ok i have to ask...cutting back the electrode? i know about indexing plugs and the theory that the multiprong plugs get in the way of the air/fuel mixture.. but trimming electrodes? New one on me, what does it gain?
What did you use to delete the AC comp? I've read that Napa sells a pulley, but when I call the local store they don't know what I'm talking about. Anybody have a part #?

For now I pulled the whole deal out together even with the tensnsioner on it. I am going to run a shorter belt, and eventually put a standard rotation pump on.
