HELP!!! Wireharness trick???

I have to get this main wireharness out of my car. I'm at the point where I'm behind the battery going thru the firewall into the interior. Question is where can I disconnect the engine bay harness from the interior wire harness. Is it at the firewall? At the gauges? Where does it come apart? Thanks guys
