Delrin shock mounts
The theory is the the shocks get to move like it is supposed to without the side loading and rubbery deflection inherent in the stock mounts.
I used to believe that a little rubbery was good for street suspensions but my experience with spherical rod end trailing arms vice poly bushings has changed that belief. (spherical rod ends actually improved my ride quality without degrading my ability to blast through the twisties.
So if removing the factory bushings and installing delrin actually frees up movement through the desired range of motion while removing the rubber deflection it seems like another win win...

Sorry for the long post does anyone have experience using delrin pin top shock mounts on a C4...or C5/c6???
Thanks
Mike
Below are some videos that Hardbar put out when they released the product last summer that are very revealing.
This video shows how a shock with a stock C6 rubber bushing on top and bottom reacts.

This video shows how adding only the top half of the mount cuts down on the "jumping" the shock does.

Finally here is a video showing how easily the shock will pivot with this mount.

You can get them from Harbar or one of his distributors.
