Default Stock ride height

I measured 26.375 center of wheel to wheel well edge front and 27.5 rear. This is not the complete maximum it seems like an inch or two back it might be a tick more. Is this thing lowered stock or lowered too much it drag more often than not on local raods on the front air dam..

I measured mine when it was stock, 27.750" to front fender lip. Your tire size will change this.

measuring the hood (wheel opng) is a quick-but-dirty approximation...look at the shims under your hood hinges vs a few other vettes, some have the hood jacked 3/4'' off frame, some much less...'better' check is to measure engine cradle ground clearance, 'normal' seems to be 4.75''-5.00'' with tires new/oem size/correct air press, 1/2 full gas tank, etc...'best' is to check 'Z' height relationship of ball joints to lower a-frame inner pivots on engine cradle (refer to SM for actual dimension)

correct 'Z' height is critical to proper suspension operation.

Oh no, all the slammed guys think their cars handle the best ever! I took a measurement off the frame rail too, behind the front tire. 8 3/8" stock.

What year is the Vette? I bet GM changed the heights on different years. GM just loves to change things.
