Default Header x tensions ?

I am looking at HEDMAN header extensions for a 90" = need 1 o2 sensor

What did you guys buy, because I only see them offered in either both or none.

1.buy with both, and cap the right side?
2.buy with out and put one on?
3.do they sell the one I need and missed it?

Thanks

New headman headers should come with the collector reducers/adapters so all you will need is what is called an 02 bung & weld it to the left side reducer. Summit has them -- 11.00.

If you do not have the reducers you can go either way with the extensions. With or without the 02 bungs.

I called Jegs two weeks ago, Headman does not make a Y pipe for our 90's, it will need to be fabricated.

Suggest a 3 wire heated 02 sensor.

Disclaimer:

I have zero hands on header experience on this Vette however I have built a # of custom long tube header sets. including 2 stainless steel sets for street rods. My Vette is a driver, the plan is for Headmans, fab the Y pipe. Heated 02 in the reducer, high flo main cat & the jury is still out on what mufflers to use. At this point I am considering resonators only from the folks that make power sticks.

Hope this helps.

This is what I am looking at from summit. I need to know if it is easier to use the reducer with o2 bung(will it reach?)
Or use the weld on bung?

these are the options they gave me for o2 sensors.

Use the weld in bung, get it as far up as possible, that way you do not need to go to heated o2's.
