Thoughts? Car runs fine, can beat on it all day. But when I drive easy, it will throw a code 33 and 42. Turn it off, they will go away and then randomly come back.
So anyone with ideas on why they would appear together in low RPM, low load situations?

Thanks in advance.
33- (1985-1990) Inspect intake system for leaks, Inspect for vacuum leaks, Check MAF connector and wiring, Check MAF for open using digital Ohm meter. Possible ECM failure.
42- Check wiring at ignition module. Replace ignition module. Possible ECM failure.
If you will notice the only thing these 2 codes have in common are the (Possible EMC failure)..This would be my first guess. It could also possible be seperate problems but check ECM first....WW
Yeah it better not be the ECM, but thanks for the diagnosis. Stupid ECM is only 2 years old or so.
The one thing that has me worried about the MAF is that I had a coolant hose blow and I think some water/coolant may have somehow gotten into the wiring connectors for the MAF. Not sure, but that is all I can think of occurring before this problem showed up.
Just wanted to see if there was logic in them occurring together, I'll hope it isn't an ECM issue.
