Try Treadstone.

http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...te+intercooler

I am looking to do one of these this summer to eliminate the LT1 procharger intercooler restriction.

Go over to the A&A Corvette site, they do a ram air setup on C5's with the intercooler about 6inches in front of the air dam with its own dam/scoop.

Supposedly the radiator still gets fresh air and so does the intercooler because it has its own scoop.

I need to work all of this out, but it would require cutting the bottom of the noise piece and maybe cutting the honey comb crash protection, but I think it should be doable.

I also need to work out any potential ground clearance issue as the intercooler will hang down a little and sit forward so steep inclines/drive entrances may have an issue.

I think the common belief is that if you have the intercooler right in front of the radiator without separate air paths, that you will run hotter. Another concern with that is heat soak in stop and go, so I think if the A&A approach coul dbe made to work it would be ideal.

What I need to figure out is how to get the tubing onto the left/passenger side. On the C4's, there are the blackish aluminum skid rails under the nose that you would have to get the tubing over or they would need to be notched. Hopefully the outlet angle can go up through the shroud similar to a lot of typical C5 designs.

this seems like a small intercooler for the power i wanna make , i'm gonna be running a 91.5 mm turbo on a 434 sbc .. the motor will make over 1000 .. i'm gonna be running E85 as feul so that should help with the cooling ..

Who makes a custom 1000+ intercooler ?

That would be mine. It is my understanding that it'll fit ltx vettes easily, but it won't fit the l98's unless you change a few things around. Yes, it's still around.

I was wondering the same thing, I was looking at it back in October. How much are you willing to let it go for now? I mean, if it is just taking up space and collecting dust, I'd gladly pay shipping to MD, and then some...

It's still available. Shipping was one of the things that prevented me from selling it previously. I need to box it up and come up with a quote for the shipping. Unfortunately, I got busy and never got to it back then(boxing it up and measuring). I'd be willing to let it go for $600+ shipping.

If it doesn't sell on it's own, then I'll probably sell it when I sell my ysi kit. I may be selling that in the not so distant future.
