Soak the threads with penetrating oil or wd 40. Wait a few hours. Come back, set the air wrench on high and unscrew the nut. If no air, a wrench or ratchet with a pipe extension will work.
Thanks for the answers. I got the tailing arms off but now I am having trouble getting the old sleeve off of the bolt on the upper trailing arm. This is the old sleeve that was inside the old bushings. It is apparently rusted to the bolt. I have used Blaster, pounded on it, used a screw driver to turn it some, and used a pipe wrench on it but it will not come off. I cannot get the bolt, itself, to move. I got the nut off but the bolt will not budge.
Put the head of the bolt in a vice and crank it down tightly. Now, clamp the sleeve TIGHTLY with an old pair of large vice grips and give it a good whack with a hammer. Twisting motion is your friend here....that should compel it to let go.
