Headlight Noise?

Headlight Noise?
1993 40th.... everytime I flip the switch to turn the headlights on, they come on and everything works.... but for about 5 seconds after it keeps making a sound like its still fliping the lights up then it goes away.. Same for when you turn the lights off... anyone have this problem? or no how to fix it?

Fyi, I have taken apart both of my headlights and the 3 round plastic bushings were fine. I replaced them anyways, but the passenger headlight still doesn't like to come up sometimes and if it does, like the OP the motor continues to run for a few seconds after it is up. I might have to tear it apart again, maybe some gears are stripped or something is out of alignment.
