But there are many high horsepower cars running stock rails. My car is fairly mild by today's standards, 420 or so crank HP and it's definitely fine.
No way to really know without testing I suppose - if you start seeing one entire side consistently run leaner than the other that might tell you you are starting to max it out.
What do you guys run (to upgrade the fuel rails) to supply higher hp combinations?
I would say the first thing you would do is eliminate the crossover tube and run the rails in parallel instead of series - eventually i will do this. If you search around here you will find a post or two where folks have done it on higher horsepower cars. Not that hard to do really, just need to modify the rails a little and put a dual feed pressure regulator on it (if you look on the Aeromotive website you'll see they have several types.)
